FAQ

Q: How do I upload my files?

A: Once you have completed the payment, you will be redirected to a page where you will find a link to our "sendthisfile" account. You can upload your files there and we will be notified as soon as it’s done.

Q: What format should my files be when I send them too you?

A: Your files should all be WAVs at either 44.1KHz, 48KHz or 98KHz. We don’t mind which one, just make sure that all WAV files are the same.

Q: What happens if there are some things I want to change when I receive my mix/master back?

A: At Supernova we offer 5 free revisions to your mix/master. This means that we will go back and change whatever you want up to 5 times for free. If you need anymore changes after that, we do charge £15 per revision.

Q: What equipment do you have at Supernova Mixing?

A: At Supernova we have access to top of the range hardware and software to give you the best mix possible. Some of our more notable units include:

  • Manley Voxbox Vocal Processor

  • Joe Meek SC2 Stereo Compressor

  • Audient ASP8024 Mixing Console

  • Multiple Lexicon Reverb Units

  • A vast selection of Waves and Slate Digital Plugins

  • Genelec, KRK and Adam studio monitors and subwoofers

Q: So how does the process work?

A: Well, it’s very simple:

  1. Bounce down each individual element into a WAV file, or, if you just want your track mastered, send us your mixed WAV file. Then you put them all into a folder and ZIP it up. If you’re unsure on how to do this, Supernova will be uploading a video tutorial very soon, but in the meantime a quick Google search should do the job.

  2. Head on over to Supernova Mixing and click on our services page or “Get Started” button.

  3. Select the category which applies to your track. The amount of single WAV files in your ZIP folder indicates how many channels your track will have.

  4. Checkout using Paypal (You don’t have to have a Paypal account), or directly through our website using your credit/debit card.

  5. Once that’s done, you’ll be redirected to our upload page where you can simply follow the on screen instructions. Once your files are uploaded you’re done! We’ll send you your fully mixed project back to you within 5 working days.

Q: What do your services include?

A: Supernova offers a full mixdown/mastering service. Currently our service includes:

  • Fully mixed/mastered track, WAV and MP3

  • Pitch Correction (mixing only)

  • Rhythm Correction (mixing only)

Q: Can I bounce all my drums/synths down into one stem so I can save money?

A: Of course you can, but please be aware, doing this will give us far less control over the project and we can not promise the same results.

Q: Do you accept card payments?

‚Äč

A: We take payments through Paypal as it’s incredibly safe and secure. Please be aware you don’t need a Paypal account to use it, you can simply check out as a guest. Paypal accepts all major cards in over 200 countries. We also do accept card payments through our secure website.

Q: Does Supernova Mixing offer refunds?

A: Unfortunately, at this current moment in time we can’t offer refunds. We do however offer 5 free revisions to your mix, so if there is anything you’re not happy with, let us know and we will sort it out for you.
